The problem with the phone is the speaker is faulty in the headset you just need to get that replaced

GUEST - you need to take the phone to a repair store and have the microphone replaced

Hello all,

This is a factory defect from the switch inside the headset plug which when used will disconnect sound to the ear speaker on the phone and route it to the headphone or an ear piece. When this switch is closed by a fault you won't be able to hear anything through the ear speaker once the connection is established.

Take it into your Service Provider's store.

Regards,
Worldvet

    Hello all,

When posting questions regarding the Razor V3 it is helpful and in many cases necessary for us to know if you purchased via Spring or Verison, etc.

    Thanks,

I have a motorola razr v3 that i hear fine out of but others cant hear me

Hi,

You will have to get your cellphone repaired that is the only solution to fix this problem.IF it is under warranty then please get it replaced.
You can try taking the phone apart if you want and clean and reattached the connections to the speaker in the phone.

Good luck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution.

Motorola Razr in water for about 5 min. dry now

Hello,

From all indications, everything is functioning fine, just that they can not hear you at the other end.

The problem with your phone is the mouthpiece, the mouthpiece of your phone is bad, that is why they can not hear you at the other end.

All you need to do is change the mouthpiece of your phone and you will see that they can hear you at the other end.

Take care.

"unable to charge" message & person on other end cannot hear me

Go to a skilled mechanic, request him to check the charger, the charging connector, the charging controller IC to solve the problem.

Volume

When you are on a call, press the up or down buttons on the "top" part of the phone, to the left side of the main screen. If you are on a call, these buttons adjust in call volume. Otherwise, they adjust call ringer volume.

Can't use earpiece...? (Motorola Razr)

Have you raised the volume while you are on a call as this is the only way the ear piece volume increases.
If this doesn't work then I'm affraid you have a faulty earpiece

Razr Hearing problems

drahma: If your RAZR is from the older ones, I strongly suggest you to replace it with an L7 (SLVR) or another model. The old RAZR's had too many problems (Voice, Data, Bluetooth, etc.), that's why MOTOROLA quickly release the SLVR L7. If it's a new model, definitely should take it to a dealer to replace your cell's microphone. SithPitt
