My JVC 35 inch television will be working good then will shut down and just show a thin red line. After a few minutes the tv comes back on. What causes this

The tv have cold solders joints somewhere in the tv main PCB board.Take it to the shop,tell them the problems.My gest is it will,cost u like $35-45 for the shop,take ur tv aparts and find out where there cold solders joints is,resolder it for u.

That problem is usually cause of bad capacitors on the power supply section..

As you stated your TV works fine and after a minute the red light comes on...

That symptoms is cause of bad capacitors..Normally bad capacitors can check visually if the capacitors look like leak/bulged on the top that is the indication of bad one but not all bad capacitors are bulged some are not so in that case you have to used a special meter called capacitance meter..

52 inch rear projection tv turns off after a minute

try turning off the auto shut off feature in you set up screens . you can find them through the menu button on your remote. scroll through till you find it and turn it off.

I had the same problem. i was told by one of these so-called experts @ fixya that my flyback transformer needed to be replaced (the 8 blinks on the standby was the indicator). but i recently replaced it and im having the same problem. sorry. no advice. good luck.

Picture loss!

It sounds like cold solder joints on the vertical IC chip. Not a major deal. The entire board should be looked over for other joints becoming cold.

JVC Projection TV shuts down by itself.

47" JVC TV TURN THE POWER ON THERE ARE SOME BLUE LIGHTS THAT COME ON BUT NOT THE TV. THEN AFTER A FEW SECONDS THE BLUE LIGHTS FADE AWAY.
