Alarm light flashing, please wait message

I returned from holidays to discover that my MP730 is not working. The alarm light flashes continually and the message, Please wait is on the display. Every few minutes the display says: Check printer, press resume key.

I have pressed the Resume key. Nothing happens. I've turned the machine on and off. I've checked the to see that the computer recognises the printer and it says it's ready.

I did get a weird thing pop up when I first tried to print (and discovered these problems) saying that the drivers were missing. I instructed the computer to reinstall them and it said it did, but nothing has changed. Please help!

Alarm light flashing, please wait message occurred after paper ran out & was reloaded. Have tried turning machine on & off with no change. Have tried troubleshooting by turning spooling off, cancelling documents with no change.

To reset waste tank full error in MP730.

1. Hit the "menu": Key
2. Hit "Copy" Key
3. Hit "#" Key
4. Scroll thru the menu headings until you come to "Test Mode" - 12th heading
5. Hit the "3" button- this will bring up Eprom Clear
6. Hit "0" button
7. Hit the "Stop" button

Can only try then your printer go on longer but some time the other you need to clean out the waste ink it inside the printer go to open up all.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

My AEG freezer alarming light flashing followed instructions pressed button and light flashing left hours and alarm light still flashing.

If the alarm light on your AEG freezer is still flashing after you have followed the instructions and pressed the button, it may indicate a problem with the freezer. You can try unplugging the freezer and leaving it unplugged for a few minutes, then plugging it back in to see if the alarm light resets. I have a Canon MultiPass MP730 that is flashing the Alarm and reads cartridge jammed. However I can move the cartridge manually. The machine won't do anything because of the alarm. How do I fix this?...

To fix this you first need to remove the ink and the print head.
Wash the 4 ink pads in luke warm water.
Keep running the water over the bottom of the print head until the water shows no sign of ink colouration.
Make sure all of the print head is completely dry before replacing it into your printer.
After restarting your printer you will probably see the alarm light still flashing.
Now hold your finger on the resume button for up to 2 minutes or until you hear a clunking sound.
Hold your finger on this button and the printer will fix itself and the alarm light will stop.

It is flashing, (check printer,) and orange alarm light is flashing. I cleaned out the ink tank and put printer back together, but I think I need to some how rest the printer

there must be an error on the LED. Please look that error in the manual and then troubleshoot.

Currently alarm light is blinking and the error message says check printer. It previously showed"ink tank was almost full" How do I emtly the ink tank - will this fix the problem?

Hi My canon 370 MP Photo printer is flashing check printer, this is after I have taken it apart to clean out the ink tank overflow, as that was flashing before, how do I try top reset this printer.

Both lights are blinking and will not print

they call that flash codes or error codes. please count
count how many times the lights flash, here is what they mean

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 7 times consecutively (ink cartridge installed incorrectly)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 5 times consecutively (Print Head Error)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 4 times consecutively (Out of Ink Error)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 3 times consecutively (Paper Jam Error / Cover Error)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 2 times consecutively (Load Paper / Paper Feed Error)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 16 times consecutively (This FINE Cartridge has previously been used)

Alarm / Power light flashes orange 15 times consecutively (FINE cartridge not recognized)

Alarm flashes ink emptyhas ink! color was printing only yellow/green now prints only red/pink!

any chance it has dried out? run the test / head cleaning / did you reset the cartridge when you replaced it? generally if one or two colors work - the problem is the ink cartridge or the head for the colors not working. Did you remove the "tape" on the new cartridge?
