Blowing fuses I keep blowing the fuse on my Jensen Universal DC Adapter for my Disney Dual DVD Players. The Dvd player states it's a 9-12V so I am using a 1Amp Fuse and have the DC Adapter set at 9V. What am I doing wrong? It blows in a matter of minutes.

1 Amp is the size I was told to use it is also the fuse that came with the product when I bought it. Anything bigger and it could cause a fire atleast that's what Advanced Auto told me. The DC Adapter is a universal one and it goes from 3V to 12V (You can adjust it) is it possible that I have it set to high? I mean the Disney DVD player says on the bottom that it is 9-12V so shouldn't I have it set on 12V?

Isn't the 1 amp fuse too small? Usually 12 volt operated electronics require a higher amperage fuse. Check with the adaptirs owners manual first before changing again.

The fuse in the power cord has been failing. We've been trying a 0.315amp fuse which keeps blowing. what size fuse should we use?

Well, if it keeps blowing, and it blew out the original, then its trying to tell you that somethings wrong. I would say that you need to replace the main transformer in your power adapter, but it would be waaaay easier to just get a new one.
If you just increase the amperage of the fuses your using, you will surely damage your player.
