A button is stuck and it needs to be unstuck. Enter key test mode during the diagnostic test mode to determine which keys is stuck.
Press and hold Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control.
The buzzer sounds then immediately turn the cycle selector knob counterclockwise to the second position from the bottom.
Press and hold the Options and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds then the control enters diagnostic mode. The buzzer sounds 3 times and the LEDs flash.
Turn the cycle selector knob clockwise the second position from the top. The drive motor runs and the heat source turns error code E 68 - 7db95d8.jpgimg src="/uploads/images/7db95d8.jpg" alt="7db95d8.jpg" class="h_mi" />
The buttons can now be tested. Press each button and the corresponding LEDs turn on. You should be able to find which button is stuck. The Options and Select buttons turn on the same set of LEDs and also the Cancel and Start/Pause buttons.
Access the control and unstuck the button. Disconnect power and remove the top panel by removing the screws attaching it to the rear of the dryer. Slid the panel rearward and lift it off the cabinet. The screws attaching the console to the cabinet are exposed. Remove the screws and disconnect the wire harnesses then remove the console. The control can now be removed and the buttons are exposed. Unstuck or clean the stuck button contacts. It is recommended to clean all other button contacts to prevent the recurrence of the same problem in the near future.
