If i install sims 3 world adventures AFTER ambitions, do i use the WA disc to play, or the ambitions disc? im borrowing WA from a friend to install it, but i won't have the disc after. Will i need that disc to play, or ambitions (which i own), considering it's a more recent expansion pack?

Wondering if you need to change your ip address .
to denmark during the installation process ? https://www.how-to-hide-ip.net/browse-danish-ip-address/
Not sure if it would help ?
Does it need to access the internet to install the expansion ?
Hi. I encountered the same problem when I install worlds adventures to my desktop. What solved my problem is to change the value of SKU file. To be able to change the value of that file follow these directions:
1. Go to RUN
2. Type in regedit
3. Open hkey local machine and then software
3. then sims and then sims 3
4. then you will find the SKU file try changing the value from 1 to 7 check if it should match your base game
Hope this helps your problem. Have a good day!
open the crack folder and copy the .exe file from that game disk, after that open the game directory where you install the game and paste inside of that, it will ask you to replace click on "yes" button. now you can play without disc....... thank you
Try closing all background programs like internet browsers, p2p networks, active anti virus software or anything that could possibly interfere with the software. It also maybe is your video card over heating, try lowering the graphic settings to minimum and see if it still freezes.
go to the application> show package content> content>
resources> transgaming> c-drive> program files> electronic
arts> the sims 3> game> Bin> Then open Default.ini with text
edit. Scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says GameVersion =
1.8.25.003001 change the end one to 2 or whatever works for you like
this GameVersion = 1.8.25.003002 then close and save. And that's it.
I got this off another site, tried it, and it works! I changed the number to 7, because somebody told me thats a universal number, but it worked for me in Canada. Good luck.
