I have put in a new toner in my hp 1000 laserjet and the paper comes out blank when i print my jobs .....helllp!!!

when you had to remove the toner cartridge from the machine did you blow the machine ? if so did you remove the laser unit from the machine ? if yes , then check the shutter of the laser unit if it is opening

first please make sure , remove orange plastic in toner cartridge ,
if it ok , then there small latch in the to door , make sure that latch, is not broken

You didn't say that you swapped out the toner.
Let's come back to that point later.

Put paper in the manual feed tray.
Print something.
As soon as the paper feeds halfway into the printer, open the top cover.
Pull out the toner, look down at the paper. Is it mostly black?
If the answer is yes....replace the toner.
Vacuum out the inside of the printer and print again.
I think you have a bad toner cartridge

Run a half test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray(tray 1).
Send a print job to printer. When the paper gets 3/4 of the way into the printer, open the cover. Pull out the toner cartridge, look down at the sheet inside the printer. Does it have the streak on the left side? If yes...your toner cartridge is bad. If no...replace the fuser.

Take the toner cartridge out, shake it back and forth, and turn it around in a circle a few time. Put it back in the priter, and print. Order a new toner cartridge.

If this is an inkjet printer, ignore this response.

Are you getting toner on the paper? To find out, print a test page. When you judge that the paper is under the toner cartridge, turn the printer off and look at the toner cartridge. Is your document displayed on the toner drum in toner? Is there toner on the paper?

No No Replace the toner cartridge. If that doesn't work you have more serious problems.

Yes No Replace the transfer roller.

Yes Yes If toner is smeared on the paper, replace the fuser.

Try again the old toner cartridge if you still have it. Even though the print quality might be bad, see if there is a printout. If the page is not blank like the others, that is an indication that the new cartridge is defective and has to be replaced.

Have you checked that you are sending the print job using the correct paper tray on the printer? Check the properties of the printer to ensure you are. Check also that the printer is OK by running a test print from the printer and not through the PC. If I remember it's hold the green button for around 7-10 seconds, whilst powering on.
