I have an ALBA MP2200BUK mp3 player but it will not play my tracks. I have transfered them using sync player. it is fully charged but there is no activity.

i think maybe your Earphone Port in your Alba (it called PLUGIN Headset).
open the case of your Alba,and Resolder the Plugin headset.

connect the usb cord you received with the device to the device and to your computer and it will charge automatically. generally you want to charge a device for several hours at least, most devices will let you know when they are done charging.

i have loaded music onto an Alba mp2200buk but cannot hear anything, earphones are working and files are on the device, any suggestions

put it into the pc via usb and press the middle button while the mp3 player is off

Hi, i have exactly the same make and model MP3 player as yourself that causes me no problems at all. The problem is you are dragging the mp3's into the drive. Instead of DRAGGING, make sure that 1, they are NOT shortcuts on the desktop.
You need to have the file from the original location.
to do that, right click an mp3 on your desktop and go to open file location. from there, click on the desired mp3'(s) you want, right click and scroll to SEND TO ...... whatever drive the computer says it is (in my case drive :F)

Yes you do, you can charge it via the USB plug on your pc or you'll need to buy a seperate charger to charge it independantly.

That means you will have to sync your devicce in oder to play the songs on the device..what you will have to do is to transfer one new track that you download to your device...then once you finish transfer it the tracks, it should update every single tracks on the device...if that doesnt solve the problem you are having..what you will have to do is to format the player using windows media player then once you format it transfer the tracks over and the should be playing...
