Had the same problem today. Found a very small piece of lint/fluff in the sealing groove of the filter socket. Removed this with an orange stick & touch wood the floor is dry again.

I have had the same problem with refitting the filter. It seems to screw in tight but if it is not aligned perfectly it will leak when the machine has any water in it. If not sure that it has been refitted correctly try pouring a cup of water into the drum then watch to see if any leaks out the bottom of the filter so that you do not end up with loads of water on the floor if it is not fitted correctly (which is really hard to tell). Very poor design and puts you off removing to clean as suggested my manual unless absolutely necessary (eg if machine is not emptying)!
