Turn the camera on, then press the [MODE] button twice to enter the playback mode. You can scroll through the pictures with the left and right buttons.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.
Press the HOME button to bring up the main menu. Touch the pliers-and-screwdriver icon function area to enter the Setup menu. Touch the down-arrow function area repeatedly until "Date" appears. Touch the calendar function area to enter the Date menu.
