My arrow keys will work for a little bit and then they will stop working. If I am playing a game, the character will move by itself, sometimes I can hit the arrow key that the character is moving and it will stop, sometimes it wont. The keys aren't stuck, it is only when I play games. I can't just use the wasd keys because they will do the same thing. I have no idea what to do.

Deadeye, the problem isn't with the keyboard but with the motherboard overheating. Grab a cheap laptop cooler from geeks.com and you will find that this will keep the laptop cool enough to play a game without key creep taking over. The DV9000 laptop from HP is notorious for overheating and dying due to improper ventilation and you need a laptop cooler no matter what else you do.
Otherwise your laptop could simply overheat and the solder will separate.

Repetetive keys

Nothing to do with the drivers. If you can, configure the controls in the game to something else like WASD or IJKL. W being up, A being left, S being down, and D being right. I also play flash games and this is not a problem for me. I use firefox. Maybe give that a try.

Galidor PC game. Cannot get the guy to jump.

My son just got this game. The L key is for jumping. The ; key lets you access a special power when you get enough energy for it. The ASDW keys (I think those are the keys) as well as the arrow keys will let you move. The number pad keys will change either the direction your character is facing or the view you have of your character.
Have fun with this and hope it helps.

Arrow keys

If the keys are working on a notepad or else while typing it the issue is not with the arrow keys but with the key controls of the game that you are playing. Please change the setting of the keys while playing game or else try playing another game using the same arrow keys, i m sure it would work.

Controller problems

Have you gone back and tried that game again? And were you using one (or both) of the two sticks to move in that game, or were you using the directional pad.

The dual shock controllers on the PS2 have a small, easily overlooked button between the two sticks. It has a red light directly above it. If you push that button, the light will switch on and off. When the light is on, you can use the sticks in pressure sensitive mode. For example, if you push the stick a little, your character may walk, but if you push it further in a direction he will run instead. It's used differently in different games. But certain games won't operate unless that feature is either on or off (again, it varies by game).

My guess is that the button was accidentally pressed while you were playing, and suddenly the controller didn't work. But when you switched games, most games will turn the light on when they start up, if they need it, so the problem corrected itself.

Psp trouble

Hello, can you please explain in more detail about what is happening? Maybe if you were playing a lot of PSP, your keys might be jammed up in the circuit boards and when you play a game, some things are kind of pushing it to move the character.
Second question, in the main menu, is anything moving by itself?

Psp moving by itself

Hey, looks like your PSP may have one of these two problems. There are 2 screws on the backside of the PSP System on the side of the analog stick. If either of the screw is loose then the analog stick will move by itself.
Second problem is the Analog Stick itself has been damaged. You can replace these very easily if you are good with tools and electronics.
