Question about Frigidaire FAH085N1T Air Conditioner
Unit will turn on but doesn't feel like it is blowing cold air. Have the fan on cool and temp all the way down at 60 and just blowing warm air. Wondering where i might start. Can't tell if compressor is running or not. doesn't sound like it is kicking in.
If unit is more than 5 yrs old dump it!!! most frigidaire models just dont last...that is why they are so cheap...get it???

I had same problem, try turning unit off for 5 minutes, also remove batteries from remote.. remote sensing ftl.. then turn unit back on, set unit to cold mode, fan high, increase temperature from 60 to 68.. or until compressor comes on... my compressor finally came on at 68 but wont work at 60.. hope and pray it runs till morning with the landlord can come replace it.
