SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine
Close your external inlet valve to the machine. Disconnect hose of washing machine from the valve; keep a bucket there and open the valve to see if water comes well. Next check the screens (filters) on the hose, clean well. This shd be done on both ends of the hose/s. Refit carefully. Check for leaks. If water still (don't forget to open the valve!) does not enter machine change the inlet valve of your wash machine. Can be done yourself. Rate me pl...........if helped.
SOURCE: How to add liquid detergent and powder booster at the same time?
any booster would go in the detergent dispenser, should not be a problem if you are doing warm washes.if you do alot of cold washes, check for build up and clean from time to time.
SOURCE: deposits on clothing
Be sure to seperate lint givers with lint taker, do not mix towels etc with clothes that are attracted to lint. Also be sure water levels are sufficient
SOURCE: smeared clothes
Hi!
You can look at this as to how lint/whitening from your clothes can be removed---
This is due to un-dissolved soap and is worst in a colder climate where the cold water entering the washer is much colder than normal.
Cutting usage to 1/2 of what it says will still wash good and also cut your chances of getting "whiting" on your clothes.
Over loading the washer is another cause: Even if the agitator is suppose to go back and forth, the clothes are not. If you can hold the lid button on your washer so you can watch the clothes wash, they should 'roll" in the basket and not go back and forth like the agitator. The clothes will go down the side of the agitator, across the bottom of the basket, up the side of the basket and across the top of the water in a rolling motion. Overloading is not just too many clothes but also too little water for the size of the load is another way of having a overloaded wash load.
Water temp is also important: Use a thermometer to test the temp of the incoming water in your washer. Hot water should be close to 140 degrees F.
SOURCE: Is powder or liqued detergent better for front
They are trying to make money off you!!!!!!! LIQUID!!!! Dont ever!!! use powder soap in your front loader. Powder soap doesnt dissolve all the way and then gets into the bearings of the washer and eats them away! This caused about a 450 dollar repair for your repairman. Never use powder soap.
