Hii sir pls help me mine kingstone data traveler 2gb is write protected so how shall i remove write protected?

Insert your memory stick into your USB port go to my computor and see if it has been detected, if so right click on it and use the option format, this shall clear all your stored data but it wil restore your memory stick.

kingston is not good USB.....it is easy to be write protected.......difficult to solve

Remove data and reformat the drive. See how it behaves before restoring data.

if you copy one folder should be the same,anyway the .pls is for playlist for winamp  so you need to check if you maid some settings regarding some association ,try to copy first with folder to folder but not in the total commander but in my computer this shold resolve your problem ,and i advice you to reinstal total comander with defalt setting if you tried with that.

Unfortunately this unit does not have any security or write protection feature. If you receive a write protection message with this drive, check for the following:

1. Verify that you are allowed to write to removable storage devices. There may be a security setting in the OS that disables write access to removable storage devices.
2. Make sure you have not enabled write protection on the drive by using a third party software.
3. If none of the above apply, the drive may be defective.

Dear Sir,I m not able to found my Usb kingston 2gb in my removable storage menu when i inserted in all usb port in my laptop.this problem occured when i m cahanging and saving some data in a excel file,.it has shown me that there is no data where it has full of data that i badly need.please help me
