Your computer is running for sh-- because you probably have too many items starting up at boot time and running in the back ground. You have to go into your msconfig files and services,.msc files to turn off unnecessary operations. And virus programs are notorious for using up memory resources and turning computer into a snail. If you have one, get rid of it and stay off the p-rn sites.
It is not the cpu or power supply responsible for the issue. It is the user at fault for overloading the machine's resources. And a new computer will get just as bad if you continue to employ the same habits as you have with this unit.
