Most "laptop" computer do *NOT* have a jumper that can be used to bypass a BIOS password.
This is DELIBERATELY done, so that a thief in possession of your laptop cannot bypass your password, and thus cannot use your stolen laptop.

Find your original bill-of-sale, to prove ownership, and telephone HP/Compaq, and ask for Technical Supoprt in resetting the BIOS password.

Those key are on the same contact branch inside the keyboard - hardware defect. The keyboard is dead, it will have to be replaced.

You cannot block the cell phone that you lost.
If you had already phada security code, that would put some trouble for the thief but the thief can still get the phone unlocked in any local mobile repair shop.

Power on F10 password - Unknown, How to reset

Find the original sales-receipt, to prove to HP that you are the owner, and it's not a thief, in possession of your stolen laptop, that is contacting them. Then, contact HP, and ask for assistance.

How do i unock my laptop

To prove you're not a thief that has stolen the laptop, you need to enter the correct password. Or, you need to find the original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the rightful owner, and then you can telephone HP, and get them to help you "unock" your laptop.

Since it is a laptop, not a desktop, you must contact HP for assistance.
Having the password is a security-feature, to keep a thief from using your laptop, after having stolen it from you.

wow, Sorry for your recent fun... lol Jk not fun... anyways, I would get with the police, To see if there were any possible thing you could do, If not, Take it to a Geek Squad, Pay them a few hundred dollars to fix the problems, and then Sue the thief for damages to stolen equiptment. lol. Thatll Teach Em!

Only if you have BIOS password set. In the past, BIOS passwords can be reset by removing batteries and shorting pins. But these days, the NVRAM chips that holds the passwords needs to be physically desoldered and replaced, which makes it very difficult and costly.

Windows passwords can be cracked easily. Hard drive passwords are also near impossible to crack and protects your data, but hard drive can be replaced easily making the laptop usable.

So if didn't have BIOS password set, then you're pretty much out of luck.
