I have nokia 5320 xpress music and i forget my MMC password. kindly give me the solution, i also download the file of fexplorer but when i install the message appear "certificate error" kinldy help me. i also allow remote lock enable and type a message "abcde" but after this when i give the same message for mmc password the mobile do busy and no respond till i remove the locked mmc. kindly help me i m online. regards

Please follow the mention below step and unlock your memory card.

Download the FExplore click here

1. Open any file manager softwares like Seleq, FExplorer.
2. (Search phone memory only)search for the file MMCSTORE in phonememory using seleq software's inbuilt search,
or search manually in folders either C:/SYSTEM/DATA or C:/SYSTEM/

Search by giving the search item as mmcstore.* or mmcstore.dat (better manually locate)(Seleq represents phone memory as c drive and mmc as E drive)
3. when you find it, send it to your PC by using send option in seleq.
4. on PC, open the file with Notepad, or any word processor
5. There goes your password.Ignore spaces and any unidentificable unknown (non english) charecters.
You can only recover the password of the MMC card set on your phone.
If the password for the card was set on another phone you would have to apply the above procedure on the phone which originally set the MMC password.

Install fexplorer in phone memory. Then look in c drive of phone, you will find a file called mmcstore. Copy this file to yor computer and open it with notepad. At the end of this file yo will find your memory card password.

The steps to unlock a password protected memory card of your mobile phone, is described below. Please follow the steps:
1. To unlock your mobile memory card, you need a file explorer. You may use FExplorer. To download FExplorer, http://fexplorer.en.softonic.com/symbian/download#pathbar
2. After finished downloading, install it to your mobile phone.
3. Insert the mobile memory card into your mobile phone. Remember, don't access the memory card through phone at this moment.
4. Run FExplorer and open the following location C:\system.
5. From the location C:\System, you will see a file named as mmcstore. Rename this file as mmcstore.txt.
6. Copy the file mmcstore.txt. and paste it to your computer. Now, open that file in notepad.
7. When you finished the above steps, you will find the password of that file

first of al install fxplore in ur phone if not installed


1. Open one of above software you have. 2. Browse through the directory, C:\system 3. Rename the file mmcstore to mmcstore.txt 4. Open the file - The file will open in Notes. 5. You will find your password in that file. That file would also contain much more data which you do not understand,so you need to go through the file to get the password!
When ur cell is connected to pc by means of data cable or bluetooth,u can see the password by simply opening the file mmcstore with notepad.

What should we do if we forget the password? For S60 1st and some of 2nd phones, the password is stored in a plain text file.

• Firstly, you need to install FExplorer a free file manager that allows us to browser through S60 file system.
• Next, launch FExplorer and then browser to c:\system folder. There is a file, called mmcstore.
• Rename the file to mmcstore.txt and then open it. Your password must be several characters at the end of the file.
