My Honda GCV160 Pressure washer runs great, but isn't creating any pressure out of the nozzle. Not even a drop out of the wand. Its been on hiatus while I've been recovering from an injury for 3mos. It worked great the 3 years prior. Is there a kit and a schematic to rebuild this pump at a novice level?

The spill valve operates at approx 20% higher than specified pressure washer operating pressure. If you have any lance issues then the pressure could be running higher than specified (machine running at same pressure as spill valve operation pressure)

your machine produces a fixed flowrate of water (maybe 8 litres per minute) and your nozzle is a fixed size. the diameter of the nozzle determines the back pressure. A piece of debris could further close your nozzle orifice and increase the back pressure. Using a new lance that has the wrong nozzle fitted can also cause this issue.

The karcher barcode is on a silver sticker and is usually 15 digits long. Example 156987400000123 is actually model 1.569-874.0 and serial number 00123....

it will not draw soap while using pressure take out the nozzle or use the large black nozzle

clean the pressure regulator valve in the pump

sounds like there is a valve hanging up inside the pump

there is a small ball bearing inside the nozzle on the end of the lance , this can get jammed or missaligned and the nozzle orifice can get blocked , clean this or replace the whole lance with another 200 Bar lance .

Some suggestions:
Is the gas old? If in doubt replace it.
Try removing the air filter and spraying carburetor cleaner into the carb Then try starting it. If it runs for just a minute, then stops, the carburetor needs cleaning.

Can anyone Solve this? My simoniz S2500 gas powered pressure washer has low pressure coming right from the outlet. It used to be high pressure until now.. I think it has something to do with the pump and if so, is there anything I can do to repair this problem? The screen is good; water comes out of the hose good, wand is ok......Just that lower pressure is at the wand even at high settings....It comes in a form of a spray in both modes......

my Honda ic2 ran greet, then all of a sudden it started to slowly shutting down,
i restarted it. and it ran for about 5 min and shut down. i did this 3thee to four times do i need a gas additive or what

common for not starting unless trigger engaged as you are turning the pump as well as engine creating pressure,as for stalling pump has unloader valve which is probably in need of grease(use good silicone grease)this allows water to ciculate when trigger released.

1999 campbell hausfield 1800 psi--2.2gpm. weak pressure at the nozzle. water sprays out, but with the pressure of a garden hose.
