Check these two things first.  1.  Is there a thick frost buildup on the back panel at the bottom half of the freezer?  2.  Do you hear the fan running inside the freezer?  Let me know what you find.

There is a panel on the lower back wall inside the freezer.
Remove it to access the fan motor.

Yes you need to replace it,if dont will have bigger problems.

If You run Your finger in between the rubber seal that is resting on the freezer and the frame of the door , the rubber seal will break lose. When you open the door the seal is attache to the door.
Just had the same problem after unboxing.
Simple, just be sure to do the entire door.
