Fuji finepix s1500 will not startup even with new batteries

The only reset I can find is on page 89 of the manual.

It might be the salt water has got into its main chip circuit board or may be its blocking the power switch circuit. And there is a chance of the lens motor being stuck by it. You can also try another battery or recharge your battery and try it again. If you have no other choice that throwing it and buying another one then try washing it with normal water, let it dry then try again.

i have fujifilm s1500 and the flash appear disable on screen , i tray to change it to enable but i cant also there is a yellow camera sign on screen what i can do to make the flash enable

Yes, that's it, basically. You may need a three-wing screwdriver, and be careful not to damage the little "hinge" that locks the ribbon to the circuitboard.

Doesn't sound normal. No setting on an S1500 will do that. Take it back to where you purchased it for exchange.

try installing the drivers from the fujitsu website

if you already tried it w/ different computers & still it wont work, the device itself is already busted

i dont know how to get my finepix s1500 to up load i plug it into the moniter and nothing happens
