I have a jetted tub that has not been used in years, but still worked until recently. When I went to use it you could push the button all the way in with no response from the motor. So just wondering if you think i need to replace the whole motor or is there something else it could possible be? It currently has a ultra jet 1 hp motor if it needs to be replaced do you have to stay with the same model and hp? What pumps are good for any jetted tub?

The button is an air switch, check the simple things first. your tub is connected to a gfi plug or breaker, try reseting the breaker first.next is the air hose from the button to the pump connected,is it split or have a hole in it. with the access door removed pump the button and listen for an air leak, if so remove hose just by pulling on it, most hardware stores carry the same hose and sell it by the foot.

Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

The problem you are experiencing tells me that the air switch in the motor most likely the problem.
This is a latching air switch that operates when the button on the side of the tub is pushed.
The replacement TBS-339 air switch is around $21

Aqua glass jetted tub quit working

Hello. There are two reset buttons in the mechanical space or your tub. You should be able to access that area from the front by removing a few screws. it is not uncommon to have to push those reset buttons after a power outage. If you do need a repair I recommend that you call a store that sells hot tubs as they will have a technician on staff or be able to guide you to one. Regards, Joe

When we press the button nothing happens. It has worked perfect until just recently. Tub is two years old.

Most of the control buttons on a tub are not electrical. These buttons are connected to an air line that runs to the motor. Sometimes an aggressive button push can literally blow the air line right off of the bottom of the button.
This problem is as easy to fix as it sounds. Find the loose air line and push it back onto the button. You will need to open up your access panel. Bring a flashlight. Good luck
