You might just have to upgrade the desktop software to work with the TX. You can keep your names and addresses but you have to check with each program to see if there compatible or not since the TX uses Palm OS 5. Most of the software available today is written for that operating system.
I don't believe Palm is even supporting the E2 anymore.
Resetting the unit MAY work, however you will reset everything to factory and have to set it all up again. If resetting does not work, sounds like you will be looking for your local, friendly rrepair shop. Onkyo carries a two year warranty on these units, hopefully yours is still under. If not I would contact ONKYO directly because it seems they have had A LOT of problems with the screen on the 805 and 875 models
Talked to tech support at Onkyo and there seems to be two (2) places you can hook your sub up to. I placed mine in the wrong slot. So please double check where you placed the sub connection.
