My ally does not ring - LG Ally Cell Phone

Hi,What causes phones not to ring out is when the ringer that makes you hear a tone when someone calls is damaged and does not work properly again.

The ringer is located inside the phone.You can get access into the phone by unscrewing the phone with a phone screw. It a little bit technical when unscrewing the phone.Just be careful not to damage the phone.

How to unscrew the phone.

Remove the back cover of the phone where the battery is,
then remove also the battery, at the edge you will see where the screw are located.(look closely).

After unscrewing,the screws, Open from the size of the phone,you will see where the ringer is located. It's usually round in nature. Remove and cover up the phone. (you can get a replacement ringer from any phone repair and sale of part store around you.

Ones your through with the ringer , 'wa la' Your done..

Before you replace it,you can also clean up the ringer ,there might be dirt stopping it from working properly.

tones and vibrate is located at the profile. there are option if you wish to turn on your ******** simultaneously with call ring or message. just go to settings and set your prefer option.

Hi janie rath you need to go into settings. Then sounds and then to sounds. uncheck the vibrate and make sure you turn up the volume on the phone. cool have fun ok hope this helps.

Hey Alli - if the ring is a distinctive ring setup through your phone company you'll have to set your printer to answer that particular ring such as double ring, triple ring, etc. Also, you may need to get a DSL filter for the fax line. First try setting up the ring but odds are you'll need the filter to filter the digital signal. I could explain more in depth but if you have your manual it has pictures of how to set everything up and how to go through your menu. In case you don't have your manual I've included a link for it. You want pages 81-83 to begin with. Let me know what happens. If this fixes your problem PLEASE rate as fixed.
