It seems to be a driver problem which crops now and then and not a regular one.
Please uninstall and reinstall the drivers as per the link below:

So, I should uninstall the printers driver and then re-install it? If that's the case- I will try. Please confirm.
I'm not able to uninstall the printer driver on my laptop...I get an error window that says "printer is in use" - but the printer is not connected. I've restarted computer and tried again but keep getting that error window that will not let me uinstall. I have the CD to re-install. Should i connect the printer to the laptop and try again?
