    i finaly found the solution

just need to set the switch (jumper) number 1 to 2 position

    start the laptop

    stop it

put back to on position 1

    and it is done

no need to open all the laptop

just the long piece of plastic where the on/of botton is.

you will find a switch 1-2

    3-4

    5-6

    7-8

Can you show me how to disable bios password on acer travelmate 2350

The BIOS password is a hefty security measure, and consequently, is difficult and in some cases impossible to disable if you do not already know the password that was set. Dell offers a recovery service if you can prove purchase. Acer does not provide any kind of easy solution, but most use a BIOS developed by Phoenix, and you might (and thats a big might) be able to recover the BIOS (a.k.a. wipe the original, which requires a password, and replace it with a 'fresh' one). If you are interested in this endeavor, I came across a handy tutorial if you want to try it out. http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/326954-case-you-kill-your-phoenix-bios-bios-recovery-methods.html

Need to reset the bios on Travelmate 4010, as it has BIOS password and HDD password locked

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

HOW TO REMOVE ACCER TRAVELMATE BIOS PASSWORD

Hi,

If you have forgot BIOS password then you have to reset CMOS jumper setting. Please follow the below steps: Open the Laptop back panel. Locate the CMOS battrey, remove it & then
with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off (make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battrey & restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.

Thanks and regards,
Jitha

Same problem but have got acer travelmate 4150

Check on motherbord again you can find cmos cell it is look like round battery cell.
Then pull it for 10 minutes so all bios settings are defaults.
Also you can clear bios with jumper find jumper on motherbord it has 3 -pin 1-2-3 right now jumper is in 1-2 position set it to 2-3 position so your bios is clear. Then again set it to it's original position.
then it not ask for password.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Thanks.

Is there an overide bios password for my acer travelmate 2450 as i can not access the bios as it asks me for a bios password that i dont have

There is a "jumper" that needs to be shorted and power then applied to the board. Take the memory cover off the bottom of the case, take the first memory stick out, look on the motherboard for a set of points that are labeled J3 or Cmos reset. You will have to hold a thin piece of jumper wire on these points to "short" the connection while power is applied to the board, this will reset the Cmos and clear the password.
