I just cleaned out my 1GB memory card. However, my camera is still saying that it is full even though it only has 1 photo. How can I fix this?

Samsung PL50 with Samsung 2GB memory card says 'memory full' even though I've cleared down the memory via my laptop.

Have you actually formatted the card in the camera ? Just copying the photos does not remove them from the card

My memory card is not being read in my samsung nv20 camera.. after taking 6 pictures the camera tells me that memory is full, i have tried taking the card out and back in again, but no luck, the card is a...

The NV20 is a 12MP camera, and can fill up a 1GB card fast, especially if you accidentally take a video (thinking it was a photo). Have you checked to make sure that all your photos are actually "photos" (i.e. not videos)? Other troubleshooting steps for memory card problems may be found here.

It says that my "Memory Card is full" even though

1. Make sure you are saving all your images to what is called the "external" memory, not the tiny internal memory.
2. Format your memory card using the format feature on your camera.

What setting should i have the camera on for normal photos, I have a 32 memory card, however after 10 photo's the camera tells me that the memory card is full.

A 32mb card is very small. If you are shooting at the full 8 megapixels, that's why your card is getting full. You should have at least a 1gb card.

The 1GB disk, only takesabout 22 pictures beforeit says the memory is full

Check the setting where the pictures are being stored. It may be still storing to the internal memory.

Also check what resolution you are capturing your snaps. Although 22 pictures should not fill your memory but high resolution photos can take 5-6 MB /photo, so you can accomodate about 180-200 photos in 1GB. Try reducing the photo resolution, if you are not planning to print them.

Also, have you downloaded all the previous snaps from the card and deleted it from the 1GB card?

Keep saying memory full and I have not used it yet

all cameras have a small internal memory, in your case three pictures, you need a memry card, your manual should tell you which type you need (although for polaroid, i think [but am not sure] thit it will be an SD card) you should probably get a 1-4 gb card, as this will let you take a few hundred photos, before you have to download them onto your computer

Says full card after only 35 pictures

please check the photo settings..you will be able to store more photos if you take photos in a lesser megapixel setting than compared to a higher one..also i would suggest getting a bigger memory card like 1GB..do check with the camera manual for all the supported memory types..hope it helps!

Memory card Samsung Nv3

This is a common problem and I had the same issue. Samsung only guarantees that a 1GB external memory card will work. If you look at the user manual on page 77. I just used a 1GB memory card instead and it worked fine.
I am not saying that no memory cards greater than 1GB will work but I would try to find someone that has used the brand and size and knows that it will work.

Memory Card Problems

According to the samsung website " Samsung camcorders manufactured in 2004 and later can be used with memory sticks up to 1GB. Anything over 1GB is not guaranteed to work. "

I have the same problem. Video works fine on my 256MB card but not on my 4GB or 8GB cards. It would be nice to know if anyone has success with a particular card >1GB.
