The non-gmail mail app does not support changing the signature on the version of Android OS that is loaded onto the HTC Dream/G1. In the Gmail app do the following:
1. push the menu button to bring up the menu options for the Gmail app. 2. select settings from the menu 3.select signature and enter your desired message 4. press OK to save or cancel to void your entry.
yeah and alot of the vista computers have a phone program already installed that works with most phone =) you should be able to extract information off your phone =) just a little extra information =) you can also sync your contacts with your google email account via your phone so if anything happens to your phone once you put your sim then gmail into another google phone (G1, G2, or mytouch) you can sync your contacts right back!
tomtom is coming out with software soon to be able to use your g1 as a gps device. theres apps on the market that let you view traffic updates just look up gps on the apps market and find one there. i believe google maps does traffic updates. you should get the docking station for your car it replaces expensive gps devices.
hello you just simply need to install an app from the market one called es file explorer and another called astro you will be able to delete files with es file explorer if necessary.

try downloading the application 'save mms' from the marketplace. after the app is installed, open it up and it will show all the pictures in all the picture messages you received. click on it and it gives you the ability to save it. true life savor ;) enjoy
Obviously, make sure that you are inputting the correct settings for your Chosen Email address, make sure the email provider Allows the use of the POP3/IMAP Clients for their email services, and make sure that you have a good strong connection to the internet.
Remember, the POP3/IMAP Client on the G1 does not support PUSH Email at this time, Meaning the emails will not automatically appear in your Mail inbox (unlike the G1 Gmail Client, which Supports Push Email).
