Bizhub Konica Minolta - Error Code C1183

Help for resolving the error code C1183 of muy Konica Minolta C252

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

Code C1183 is a finisher / sorter elevator motor failure.

Check to make sure there aren't ant papers / objects lodged in the finisher.

Unfortunately, the service manual isn't more specific as to where to look.

First check the alignment front and rear of the finisher, check the finisher exit guide rollers if the paper is exiting properly, open both rear and the front cover and check the lower gears attach is the up/down drive belt. that lower gear one might be broken by the pin slot.

Sounds like you have a finisher with the optional output tray and the selector is not in the right position. OR you have a bad ground.

Something with your finisher most likely. I wouldnt tear it apart to check wiring unless you started with the obvious.
