when you changed the battery did you replace the rubber seal on the back plate if not that's why you have condensation in your watch,dry off with hair dryer and replace seal ,then it will be ok...

Skagen watches have very thin domed crystals and they do break. Because of how thin they are it doesn't take a lot of pressure to break the crystal.

Crystals are not something any watch company covers in their warranty.

The crystal can be replaced. Either Skagen can replace them or a qualified watchmaker can. Prices vary and it would depend on how much you are willing to spend as to if it was worth it to you.

Sounds like battery is failing. Time to replace it! :-) Sears stores usually have a watch repair counter...or find a reputable watch repair business. (Even if the watch is new...its still possible the battery could be failing because you have no way of knowing when it was originally installed! They typically last about 2-3 years depending on age and condition of watch!)

I am not absolutely sure about this specific model. But I do know there can be concerns with some due to the fact that the radioactive-gas filled glass vials are more susceptible to damage during the battery change. Also the O-rings should be replaced or at the very least lubricated if the watch needs to be stored for a long period of time.
A reputable jeweler should be able to take care of it for you for around $15 to $20.

Try this link and get what you want. Be very persistant and push hard, as I had experiance to KC beeing very unwilling to supply parts and do any repairs. If You can't get stuff over the net - do not minge a few bucks and make direct phone call. At the very end they (CK) will be happy :(( to supply the glass and will not charge their in-house repair bill. Any decent watchmaker is able to fit the glass at the same level of quality as CK does.

Generally YES glasses are able to be replaced. Mineral crystal glasses are the usual ones, but it depends on the type of case the watch has. If the case is unsual it may have to be ordered directly from Kenneth cole. If it's standard and round (and not domed in the middle) you can get a generic glass put in.

Is the glass smashed? If so it's adviseable to take it to a watchmaker, as small shards of glass may of gotten into the movement which will effect it's effectiveness later on in life.
