My mitsubishi wd-65733 is making a strange clicking sound from behind the tv and there is no picture. then the sound goes away after like twenty seconds then will do it again pretty quick after.Any ideas???

Lamp could be the problem or Ballast board that powers Lamp on. Encompass Parts Distribution visit their website and look up your Model#

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you. Blessings, A/V Media Guy
In this case there are two possibilities of what part is the one causing the issue, it coul be a ballast because of the clicking sound that caused the tv to shut off, and that buzzin sound is for your color wheel that it might not be working anymore, discountdashmerchantdotcom free troubleshoot
