Fan runs in freezer constantly,does not cut off when door is open, coils freeze up, repair man changed a bad circuit board, and then the thermidistat. fan still runs constantly. What could this be?

Number 1 thermistor is located against the back of a U shaped chanel atop the left side refrig shelf mounting bracket beside the refrig damper . #2 is located 1/2 way down on the refrig right wall with a 2 " oval covering . # 3 you only have if you have a quick chill at the lower right side in refrig section . # 4 is clipped atop of the coils inside the freezer section . # 5 is located slightly foreward of the drain pan inside of a small capsule at the bottom of the freezer section . There is a way to check all thermistors useing the touch control board , but that was not the question you submitted .

The water dispenser and ice maker side run separate sides of the water control valve. Fill ice maker with tap water and let it freeze. If it dumps the ice then does not refill then the water control valve is the problem. I will be back soon with a photo and some links, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Hi,
Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.
