Inkjet 3 failed

Forget it HP.. has now found a way to recongnize when a cartridge has been jail broken and will not allow the printer to print. The cartridges have circuits imbedded in them so the printer can recognize the originals from the knock offs. Many are outdone at HP, as they are now dictating what product you can use in the printer. That is why the printers are so cheap. They make up for it in ink.

If they installed a Modem/Access point that the computer talks to via wireless than this has become the new "hub"You may need to tell the printer the new settings so it knows to go through this "hub" 1. Press Setup 2. Scroll Down to network, press OK 3 Scroll to wireless network setup (could also be named Automatic Wireless Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard). Press OK 4. Highlight the Wireless Modems name, it will ask you for a password that the TWC man advised you, or you have set up. 5. It should connect to this and hopefully resolve your printing issue.

When I print avery label 74520 on my HP Office Jet Pro 8500, it prints too far to the left on the paper label.

You have to setup printer details, not to sure of programme, if word try looking under mailings/envelopes. There you have the choice to alter the details of the item you wish to use as a template. Good luck.

Have you setup the the printer to find for wireless and you also then must setup the "Mac" for wireless.

The printer will then seek wireless products and log in. Its fairly simple, I had a similar problem the mistake was setting up the printer to seek other wireless products

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer, Model No. A909a. Is it a wireless printer? Can I connect my laptop to the printer with an ethernet cable?

Yes to both your questions!

If your laptop has wireless you need not use the cable if you connect via wireless to the internet router, you can use printer wireless to , you just need to seup the laptop to use the facilty.

You setup the printer through "Tools" look for Network and "Wireles Setup Wizard"

Same applies with the laptop through control panel.

OfficeJet Pro L7780 controls non-responsive

There is conflict between the Printer and Router you are using. The Router is freezing the printer connectivity to the network due to the Wireless radio ON option in the printer

There is a firmware update for your printer, Let your printer be connected thru USB and from this link, download and install the update for your printer and later try setting it up wireless, it should work.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-62339-2&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=2093&product=2512010&sw_lang=

If this step fails, the other step is, to Enter the printer IP Address manually in the printer Network menu from SEtup Option and later run the wireless setup wizard to connect it to the network.

No connection ref hp officejet pro 8500 a909a

How are you connecting to the printer (over the network or a direct USB connection)? If you are using a USB connection, try a new cable or plugging into a different USB port. If you use a USB hub, try a direct connection.

If you are using a network connection, check if your firewall is blocking the connection. Also check that the router (or switch) didn't dropped the network connection and didn't re-synch with the printer (or worse changed the IP address of the printer).

I hope this helps.
