Hi. I think what you have remove on your laptop is the driver for your broadband connection, the best way to solve your problem is to contact your Internet Service Provide to ask for the drivers or you could download it yourself over the internet. Just go to the manufacturers website for your machine and go to the tech support or driver support are and download the latest driver for the wireless and Local Area Connection and install it your computer. Just changed from computer connection to a sony laptop and also changed my internet supplier to talk talk, printer has stopped working can you solve this for me?

Your internet connection won't have any effect on the printer so it has to be the laptop.
Disconnect the printer and install the drivers from CD. Reconnect printer when asked.

This should solve it.

DRIVERS PROBLEM

You can download the drivers for your model laptop from the Compaq WEB site, their support/download page. Make sure you download the Vista version of the drivers.
http://www.compaq.com/cpq-country/cpq_support.html

You will need to use a computer that has Internet connection, when you have downloaded the drivers, copy them and install them on your laptop.
