You need to know if *********** board supports PCI-E, since your new VC is an PCI-E device. Check the mobo's manual if this can support PCI-E, if it is then it will be compatible (the next thing is the OS, check if the card supports your OS).

DOWNLOAD ATI RADEON PCI EXPRES X300 SE 128MB

Need more information on the exact problem and what and where you downloaded. I assume you are replacing the integrated video adapter with a PCI expansion slot.

You must disable the integrated Motherboard video adapter in the BIOS. The new card must be compatible with the expansion bus in your computer. New drivers new from the manufacturer must be installed before the PCI express card.

Follow the instructions included with the new graphics card.

My graphics card will not install. (Asus ATI Radeon HD5450 Silence). My computer is compaq presario sr1620NX with integrated graphics. (ati xpress 200 chipset) I disabled display driver in device manager...

How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.

Type of video card

The Compaq Presario SR1630NX desktop computer, has a PCI-Express x16 slot on the motherboard, for a PCI-Express graphics card.

The Presario SR1630NX came out in 2005.
PCI-Express 2.0 technology came out January 15, 2007.

The Presario SR1630NX uses the PCI-Express 1.1 technology.

You can use a graphics card based on the PCI Express 2.0 technology, however.

PCI Express 2.0 is Backward Compatible with PCI Express 1.1

You just won't get the full capability, of a graphics card based on the PCI Express 2.0 technology.

Will you notice?

NO

Graphics Card Compatibility with Asus M2A-MX motherboard

Hi Anli!

Well, any GPU with pci expess will be compatible thit that mobo of your.

Its not easy to recomend any specific, it all depends of what you needs are.

Just make sure that the card you upgrade with is for an pci express slot.
A verry good GPU coast around 150-200 euros, a top GPU card cost 400-600 euros
There are ATI cards and there are Nvidia cards, both will suit with your MoBo as long as they are for pci express.

Good luck with your new card M8!

Ati radion express 200

the ati radeon express 200 isnt really designed for modern gaming, its more for multimedia like videos, and the like, only solution would be to get a new video card if your computer has a fre PCI Express slot or a AGP slot, and a decent card will only cost about 50 - 70 dollars and you should be able to play your games quite well.
