The P122-45 should fit your coffee urn. West Bend has 2 different 36 cup coffee urns, both use this same basket.

Three and a half cups for a full batch

I use 1 measuring cup of coffee for each 8 cups of water... this makes a good strong brew...

Your coffee is too finely ground for your basket. 2 solutions: buy "regular" ground coffee from now on, OR use filters inside the basket. Many 30 cup or 45 cup maker's baskets are sized so that a normal filter, flattened-out, and a small hole torn in the middle will fit into basket and prevent the grounds from passing through.

You can use a filter if you desire, or if you like finely ground coffee. A normal filter, flattened-out and a small hole torn in the middle will fit into your basket.

Amount of coffee depends on the quantity that you're making and how strong you like it. Suggested amount is 2.5 cups for a 45 (or 42) cup urn, I personally, use 3.5 cups.

use a decalcifier to remove calcium buildup calcium is like concrete dont forget rinse the machine very good after that stuff is very corosif vinergar not strong enought dont forget to rate this cheers.
