how do I fix my external hard drive, because one day I turned it on and the drive was fine, the next day when I turned it on, it kept on flashing blue, does that mean that the drive is dead. Please help me with this.
I have the same problem. I have a 500 GB hard drive and my computer will see the hard drive but it won't let me open it. It says "g:\is not accesible incorrect function" I have a lot of data in my hard drive and I don't have it backed up anywhere else so I really need to be able to be able to open the drive.
My drive was working fine till this weekend. It started when all of a sudden i left my hard drive plugged in my computer over night and woke up to see a constant red light and its contents cannot be read from the C drive nor on a fresh reboot. I need the contents of the hard drive urgentlllyyy or i am dead meat.... PLEASSEEEEEE HEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!
red usually means that reading has encountered an error or that it has encounter a corrupt file thats why it freezes. try to recover those files using recovery software.
