Blackberry 8800 headphones aren't working

I bought the Headset Jack Adapter to use my regular(3.5mm) headphones with but the sound is still playing throught the phone and not the headphones

  • chadgoldman Aug 16, 2008

Is the same true for the 8100? I also have the adapter and it won'k work with headphones. Yet, the headphones that came with the 8100 work perfectly.

The 8800 does not support the stereo function on headphones.

Bought turtle beach z11 headset, cant get mic to work

The Z11 has a four-pole input/output plug to connect the mic and the earphone. The earphone needs to be connected to the earphone jack and the mic needs to be connected to the mic input jack on the back of the computer. In other words, you should have to 3.5 mm plugs. Plugging both into the same jack will disconnect one or the other. Check your adapter, It should have two separate 3.5mm plugs. If it does, be sure they are connected to the right jacks on the computer. The headphone jack will have a headphone symbol; the mic jack will have a microphone symbol. Go to System Preferences, Sound. Select the line in preference for input and the line out preference for headphones. Just may work.

It should be compatible with any MP3 players.
The headset has a universal headphone jack that is compatible with most (if not all) devices.

I just bought a Sennheisen SR130 wireless headset and I can't get it to work on my computer, and I was told specifically that they worked on computers. I want to get them on my computer and working, and...

Hello. plug them into a stereo jack on a regular stereo. if it works, then at least you know they are working. Then you can plug them into the headphone jack on your computer. If they still do not work but worked on your stereo, then you have to find out why you are not getting audio output to your headphone jack on your computer On your computer, go to control panel, then to sound, then adjust system sound. make sure none of the mutes are checked at the bottom of any of the volume levels. you can also plug in a regular pair of headphones to the jack in back of your pc to make sure that you are getting sound. if not, then you have to enable the sounds to your pc jack in the sounds menu. hope this helps.

Can't connect c250 to Blackberry 8830

The Jabra c250 requires a 2.5mm headphone jack; the Blackberry opening is for a 3.5mm headset. You can buy an adapter at your local electronics store (like Radio Shack, The Source...).

Not getting equal sound in my headset

Faulty headphone jack in unit. Possibly worked loose while inserting headphones. If still under warranty...return or replace. Otherwise, find someone who can open the unit and make necessary adjustments.
