I have a Razor Ground Force Electric Go Kart that won't go (the batteries appear charged, but no power to the wheels). I replaced the batteries, the controller module, and now the throttle. Is there any help out there? Thanks.

Razor ground force go cart

I don't think this would be a problem, as long as the wheels fit the axle properly, both in diameter, and length of shaft.

Gas Engine Conversion

Just converted our Razor Kart to a 49cc gas motor. Is twice as fast as the electric version but was very unstable with the stock wheels. I went with 4" slicks and is much better. Transplanted the drive train from a pocket bike with electric start and speedometer. Was a 2 day project and was well worth the time.

Razor ground force battery says its fully charged but gokart wont turn on

Here is the owners manual for the future (in case you don't have one.)

It sounds like the push button fuse next to your charging plug. Push that in and try again. Otherwise it could be a wiring defect.

My son's ground force drifter is showing a charged battery but will not go. I see the full charge lights on the throttle but it when i depress the throttle, it does don't move. Anythought? Thanks

If the battery is gone(bad), sometimes it will show fully charged (volts are good).. but it has no amperage to "push" the voltage... It takes amperage to make the drifter move... (time for a new battery)... they don't last long...

When I turn the switch on after charge, it blinks on and off and my son can not use the gas feed on the steering wheel. The power switch blinks on and off.

hi, a blinking red light ,is telling you that a battery is going bad or you have a bad plug , or your charger is going bad .
I had a razor scooter that had the blinking red light, it was a busted plug on the scooter where it plugs in.I had one scooter that had the blinking red light, it was A battery gone bad .
good luck!

The lights are on showing that it is charged but will not go. It is only 10 months old.

If the charger is left plugged in longer then 24 hours you may over charge the batteries and they will not work properly. Also You must charge the batteries once a month even if it hasn't been used.

Lift up the back end of the gocart and see if the wheels spin when you pull the throttle. If you only get a clicking sound start by replacing the control modulator. 10 months old your batteries should be still good unless you over charged them. (Leaving plugged in longer then a day) Good luck...
