appear asking, "Do you want to run or save this file?" Answer with
"Save." The download will begin. Download Ghostscript (see link in
Resources). Look for "You Can Get the Free GPL Ghostscript 8.15 Here"
sentence and click "Here." This download is required for the CutePDF
program. Save the GPL Ghostscript file to your desktop.

downloads are complete. Click "Next" on the Setup - CutePDF Writer
screen. Click "I Accept the Agreement" on the License Agreement screen.
Click "Install." The CutePDF setup will run. Click "No" to the CutePDF
Writer Setup box that appears next that asks "Would You Like to Download
the Converter?" You have already downloaded the converter. Once the
setup is complete, a Readme.htm file will appear in your Internet browser. Read this file or print it.
Double click the "Converter" icon on your desktop (it will
have a black "G" as its icon). Click "Setup" on the right side of the

CutePDF installs itself as a printer, and this allows any Windows
program to create a PDF.
Open any Windows application like Microsoft Word or Excel. Open any document you would like to convert to a PDF file.
Click File > Print. Select "CutePDF Writer" from the Name
List in the printer box. Click "Properties." Choose your "Layout" and
decided how you want your page to print. Click "Paper / Quality" and
"Color."
Click Advanced > Page Size. Click "Print Quality" and
change the DPI. The bigger the DPI, the larger the file size of the PDF
will be. If you are creating a PDF to be emailed, choose 72 DPI or 144
DPI. If you are printing this PDF, choose 300 or 600 DPI. If sending the
file to a commercial printer, choose 600 or 1,200 DPI. For most
applications, just adjust the DPI setting and leave the other settings
alone.
Click OK > OK > OK. A "Save As" box will appear. Enter a
filename for your PDF file and select the directory you would like to
save the file to. Click "Save." Your PDF is done.

In short, no. The resolution on those LCD panels is extremely small and was originally designed for the small proprietary OS that came on them. Eventually Asus started putting XP on some of them, which was designed for 800x600 at the very least. As a result a lot of standard Windows dialog boxes are taller than the screen and make access to the buttons on the bottom difficult. One solution would be to use an OS that's designed for LCD screens with low resolution, like Ubuntu Netbook Remix. The only other solution is to upgrade to a netbook with a higher resolution screen, like most of the 8" netbooks.
