It leaves no residues and even cleans your dishwasher. On continuous usage, you may find the difference. Overall, it cleans your dishes as well as washer simultaneously. are you using palmolive eco liquid detergent? if so - google "palmolive eco white residue" and you will find out that your detergent is the culprit. the solution is to use 1/2 cup of vinegar in your rinse cycle and soap dish and STOP USING PALMOLIVE ECO!
