Belt sander runs until I put pressure on it

It sounds like the sand paper itself is slipping. There should be an adjustment to tighten the pressure on the sand paper itself.

Bosh B7350 Belt Sander not working

Did you pull the plastic cover on the left side to see if the drive belt has broken? I think the cover is held on with only one screw.

Have a porter cable 3x21 belt sander and the sand paper keep rolling off the wheels

on the front wheel , there is a screw that you can adjust ,, that will adjust the tracking of the front wheel, the rear wheel is stationary , once you have the new belt on, locate that screw,, and just click the switch as you adjust it,, once adjusted, you will see that it tracks straight and won't fall off

I have a Porter Cable Model 371 2.5" X 14" Belt Sander. I broke a belt, when I did it jammed and also broke a rubber sleeve that covers the Drive Wheel. I have yet to find this rubber sleeve in any part...

Unfortunatly that sleeve is not available, you will need to purchase a whole new drive wheel. The Drive wheel is $9.66 from DeWalt Service Net. Porter Cable, Delta & DeWalt are all owned by Stanley Black & Decker, you can contact DeWalt Factory Service for all parts. 1-800-4-DeWalt You can order the parts on-line, over the phone or though a local service center. The website is www.dewaltservicenet.com Below is the parts diagram for your sander. The part number for the drive wheel is A16439

Broken drive belt

Take the broken belt to an industrial supply house or Ball Bearing supply house for a replacement.

Motor runs but the drive drum that hold the sanding belt does not turn.

Instead of removing the drum, remove the belt and the cover over the gearbox. The gearbox cover is normaly fixed in place by screws around the drive pulley. There may be a couple of screws under the pulley, if so they can be accessed via holes in the pulley wheel itself. Check for worn or stripped gears. These gears can be replaced if need be, but if this is the case make sure you remove and clean out all the grease first and replace that aswell as it may contain bits of teeth that have come off the faulty gear. As far as I know belt sander drive rollers can not be removed without removing the drive inside the gearbox first.
