You probably overlooked the drain plug, it is usually located on the mounting base of the engine. BUT, there have been some engines (old cheap ones) that the oil was drained by tipping the engine and draining out the oil fill. I am almost positive yours is not one of these.
Your manual is here, but that is only an "insert". It does look like the drain plug is located on the base of the engine. Find the spark plug, and the drain plug is almost directly underneath it at the very bottom of the engine.

You need a quart of regular old SAE 5W30 motor oil with detergent. The engines on these generators are more or less the same as a lawn mower. Don't forget to service/change the air cleaner when you change the oil, that should keep your generator producing full power.
