That means your sound card driver is not installed. Can you confirm whether the motherboard model no you have posted is correct?

  • Anonymous Oct 28, 2010

Have you tried upgrading the player? May be that would resolve the issue.

  • Anonymous Oct 29, 2010

Ok. So its not a player issue. Ok lets try re-installing the chipset drivers. May be some audio codecs are corrupted. Please get me the make and model of your motherboard.

    Thanks,

Thank your for the accept. As for the full screen problem, you should just install the video driver to ensure that it does not happen again

It is probably damaged or something like that ..cause windows media player is made from the start to play Wma and Mp3 files...In this case you have to try to reinstall the next update ...or repair the installation that it is on ...
try from this location ...and let me know what it says..It may be just a setting or so ...or another player is set to cover the file association with the mp3 files..and in this case the WMp does not starts right the way when double clicking a MP3 file..
If this is the case ..just click right on the file..(mp3 one) ..and properties..and change...and in there choose windows media player to be the associated program ...and after that apply and ok ..
Here is a location from where you can download and install the windows media player again ..It may ask for windows genuine advantage to be verified ..
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyId=b446ae53-3759-40cf-80d5-cde4bbe07999&hash=HWu84YXYOpYY93nvQ5s%2bOPrGC3X7eSVa%2fyY4GmL8TavJloYbw%2f0QiDbNks3tujVSfdTOguyng19dT0cvCJk%2fUg%3d%3d
Just click continue...and get the validation after the wga software is verifying the operation system ..and download and install the windows media player again ...This will fix any error that it may have ..

I am trying to download music I purchased on itunes to my mp3 player. It shows it on the list when I have it on the computer, but does not show or play on the actual mp3 player. What do I do>

Hi dasdis07...

You did not say what manufacture your MP3 player is so it is hard to tell you what to do.
I will assume you have a normal MP3 player...not an Ipod.
Check to see what format your MP3 player will play...because the I-tunes songs are in ACC.
Normal everyday players play MP3,WMA,ect...but will not play ACC that plays on ipods.
You will also need to download (FREE) and run a media converter so that you can convert your ACC music files to MP3,WMA,etc files that will play on your MP3 player.
Once you have your music converter and on Windows Media Player, then you can transfer them to your MP3 player
What your going to have to do is follow these instructions below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

How to down load music on mp3

You should of got a disc with your mp3. You need to download that. Then plug it in through USB onto your comp/laptop. Then download a song you like on your computer. I use limewire to download music. Then simply play all the music on windows media player. I do them all at once (not so there all playing just so one plays then the other does and so on just like a album but on media player) then if it doesn't recognise your mp3 click "sync" then click "now playing" then "sync all"
Hope I helped Dr Reed

My i pod video plays then dosent

Check that the songs you have uploaded onto your IPod are AAC files. Otherwise the iPod will not play them. Also clean the wheel if its grubby or in a case as sometimes this will not allow songs to be played.

Mp3 problems

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
