I have this watch and the instructions. The attached image is what came with the box and I have also typed them out below:
OPERATION INSTRUCTION
(with Electro-luminescent Lamp)
NORMAL TIME DISPLAY Hour, Minute, Second, weekday and Date. Press S3 to change to another mode. Press S4 to turn on the EL-light. Press S5 to adjust analog digit. NORMAL TIME SETTING In Normal Time Mode, Press s3 three times to enter the TIME SETTING MODE. "Second" digit will start to flash, press to clear the Second to zero. Press S2 to select the setting digit, apd ho si to adjust the blinking digit. the The setting sequence of S2 will be in following sequence -1st press: set the hour(in 12 format display in 24 format display "24H") (12hr mode or 24hr mode is selected alternately on every 24-Hour cycle during bour advance.) -2nd press: set the minute 3rd press set de month. -4th press: set the date -5th press: set the week. -pressing S3 anytime in the sequence will return to Normal Time Display. 3. ALARM & CHIME MoDE -In Normal Time Mode, press S3 once to enter the Alarm Mode. Press S2 once to enter the Alarm Time Setting Mode: -Press sl to adjust the blinking digit. Press S2 to set the hour and minute in -In Alarm mode, press si Once to turn Alarm ON. Twice to turn the Hourly Chime ON Three times to turn the Alarm and Chime Four times to ram the Alarm and Hourly Normal Time Mode, press s3 twice to counting, Mode. si to start and press S1 again to stop the oaph. Then press S2 to reset to zero. the oaph, S2 can be pressed to Lap count. The Lap can be read when S to stop the then S2 is to read the Lap r Press S2 again to 5, BATTERY CR1616 or EQUIVALENT.

My husband had to take his watch to a store that carries that watch brand to have his battery changed. Apparently they have a special "key"to take the watch back off.
