I have a side by side Maytag refrigerator. The freezer is plenty cold with everything still frozen, however the refrigerator is not cold. I can't feel any cold air circulating into the refrigerator. I've turned down the thermostat a little, I can hear the fridge running, but nothing blowing into the fridge compartments.

check to make sure the shutter between the freezer and refrigerator section is operating. The shutter has a small motor that opens and closes on the refer side thermostat. The shutter is what lets the cold air from the freezer circulate into the refer compartment. Could also be a bad thermostat in the refer section.

Could be that you have a bad freezer (defrost) thermostat and it is not "shutting off" after a defrost. Do you feel heat (DON'T touch the panel) near the bottom rear panel inside the freezer? Also, could be a Adaptive Defrost control problem.

Heres you problem your drain plug in freezer is likely frozen as well and water is running under fridge. You have to replace the thermostat defroster assembly Its behind the panel at rear of freezer and runs down and under condenser coils. Part cost $42 and plugs in its easy to replace It creates heat which keeps the coils free of ice and also keeps drain from freezing.

Check the back wall of the freezer section for signs of frost build-up. If the freezer coil is frozen from a fault in the defrost system your refrigerator will be the first to show signs of not cooling.
