My sony 27 Trinitron KV27FS100 has a great picture but no sound

When I turn on the TV it makes a pop or crack noise, then there are 4 blinks. What is the problem, and how can I fix it.

    I have a great picture, but no sound. How can I get around the internal sound and perhaps hook up external speakers. Does the 4 blinks indicate something to do with the sound.

My 27" wega was making a crackling noise when I turned it on. Last time I turned it on it made a pop and went to standby, it blinks three times, pauses then blinks again clicks and blinks four times.
pls. check your tv mains plugh is luss canaction
if not then
probulum is in side tv set so pls. dont.use tv again and cont.nearest tv tech.and solve this problum. becous cracking noise is dengered for your tv.set
* you dont. open tv back cover it your self.becous in side tv set very high voltage.

Green screen and distorted picture sound is good but no picture
It must be connected with the color circuit of your tv, a board connected to back end of the tube. Could be dust, cob web or carbon deposit shorting a transistor. Popping noise if loud enough can be attributed to high voltage circuit fault and picture tube.

Have it service by a qualified person.

yes u need services on ur tv , it could be ur picture tube , if it is your picture tube is not economical to fix

Connect Apple TV to Sony 27FS100
the kv27fs100 is a standard 480i resolution check the output of the apple tv make sure it is not in progresive 480P

Tv wont turn back on
Hii.... first I like to know the chassis of yor KV27FS100..
sound like problem with regulated parts block.....and can more helpfull if you count the blinking of the LED....sony have selft diagnostic at the LED Blinking.....

2000 27" Sony Wega
Sony has a code for those blinks indicating the problem area. Count the blonks till the pause then google Sony blink codes for the area to fix.
