I turn my 7570 on and it lights up the sewing screen, but nothing can be seen. Just a lit blank screen. Help???

there should be an LCD brightness dial on the machine, make sure it hasn't moved. Otherwise a replacement LCD probably costs more than the machine is worth.

it show a part of the problem says a battery went flat,,was there any corrosion in the place you put the battery. if there was corrision it could have shorted something in the machine
it's very posssible that something has gone wrong with the computer part of the machine

There is a small wheel below the buttons on the right hand side that can be turned "up" or "down" to see the electronic letters properly. Sometimes that gets bumped accidentally and the screen appears to go blank - it's still there, just needs to have the letters darkened - they are just washed out. Turn the little wheel and it should return. If that doesn't work, quite possibly there is something else going on. If you can stitch even without seeing the screen - that most likely is the answer. look 3 inch down from left of screen there is a small wheel for adjusting brightness

Probably a bad circuit board. It needs to visit a Pfaff dealer for diagnosis and repair.

Hi Gloria,

Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have a computer board that's gone bad. Rare, but does happen and not something you will be able to repair yourself. There are a number of computer boards in the 7570.

I would suggest calling your local Pfaff dealer (if they are someone you trust) and having them check it out. If you're not pleased with your local dealer, you may find another dealer close enough to you to warrant the trip.
