Canon Imageclass D320 supply rec. paper malfunction

My Imageclass D320 will not feed paper through the printer. No matter what paper I put in it, I get an alarm and the "supply rec. paper" message.

I have similar problem. I also replaced roller and pad. Paper is picked up from tray then it travels approx. half inch then I get Rec Paper Jam message. At this point paper is between roller and pad.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

The copier still copies so I imagine there's nothing wrong with the rollers or clutch or anything mechanical. I am only left to believe it must be something to do with the driver. I have D320 the driver I'm given is like a generic d300 series. I can only do some more research to find out what more can be the problem.

My Canon Imageclass D320 has letter sized paper inserted inside its tray, but the printer thinks it is a legal sized paper. I checked for paper jams by the sensor but there are none. What should I do??

My problem was that I was trying to print from a PDF file. I found out that the file was legal size and that the setting for the printer to "choose paper source by PDF size" was checked. I unchecked it so that it would print on letter size paper. Hope this helps

Try making sure the copier is on a even table top.. How old is it??? You may need a paper feed cluthch and paper pick up rollers. You may also have a piece of paper jamed in the paper present sensor. Have you tried the manual feed tray?? You may have to call a service tech...

Canon Image Class D320 does not copy entire page. New toner has been installed.

Has anyone changed the paper size in the paper tray to another size by accident? Have you tried the manual feed tray? If that copies the whole image then the problem is with the paper size input of the paper tray.

PAPER JAM

laser printers dont use ink.
you will have to check the sensors. first the one where you put the media (paper) then check the registry one (remove the cartridge and you should see it) then the fixing on, from the back it has a small cover you can open an dthen a pair of green coloured levers to remove any jammed paper in fixing (the hot ***'y) then check the delivery sensor right where normally you see the page printed out and coming your way. there should not be any media remains anywhere. also if you copier is dirty it may also be causing this. try to clean it with compressed air.

Printer will not print: Canon imageCLASS D320

The paper size selected in the menu system must match the paper size in the rec. (recording) paper tray. If you have 'letter' size paper in the tray and the menu system is set for 'A4' paper you will get this message. Either put A4 size paper in the tray, or change the paper size in the menu system to 'letter'.
