I want to know the international colour codes for wiring a three pin plug please

If it plugs into the mains there is no negative wire, it is Live or Line or Hot and the other power cwire is Neutral or Return.
All heaters should have a three pin mains cable to allow for a safety Earth or Ground wire.
If we had a clue as to your location, we may be able to help further, as colour codes vary from country to country.

Pin 1 - Signal (Green/Yellow) Pin 2 - Signal Return (Grey/Red) Pin 3 - Signal (Orange/Red) Pin 4 - +5V Reference (Orange/Yellow) Pin 5 - Ground (Black) Pin 6 - Not Used

You should have a three pin plug for a three wire stator. What in fact do you have??? AND no, the pin placement does not matter in a three wire AC alternator system but the wires come assembled to pins in a plug so I do not know how you would have them changed anyway OR have four wires.

Use a multimeter, and test each wire individually as you turn on/off lights. You won't need a colour code with this method.

These two pictures illustrate the power wiring on a the terminal of an electric dryer. The one on top is the old-style three-wire configuration. Most people have this type in their homes. New code changes, though, require that dryers now have a four-wire cord, shown on the bottom.
Besides the number of wires in each cord, there are two important things to notice. First, in the four-wire configuration, notice that the dryer's grounding strap is folded back on itself. The whole point of the four-wire cord is to separate the ground from the neutral. The green wire (the "new" extra wire in the four-wire cord) is attached to the dryer cabinet. In the three-wire configuration, the grounding strap is left intact and the neutral and ground are tied together.
