If your having a problem with the voice command it is because your ally doesn't have froyo on the ally. I had this problem and it took me an hr to figure it out. You know how you have to swipe your thumb to the right to get the screen to unlock? Well to the right there is a sound button that you swipe to the left. It will shut the sound on and off. Try holding it down and swiping it.
